This typically Alentejo farm is located in an area with a high touristic potential and just a few minutes from the stunning coastline integrated in the "Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina".

Set amidst the hills of São Teotónio, municipality of Odemira, and about 15km from the coast, this 39-hectare estate offers three restored single-floor houses (two T2 and one T1+1) with approx. 380m2, lakes and natural springs, and an extensive green area with cork oaks, olive trees, arbutus trees and other native species. It has also water holes, several natural water springs, an irrigation system, two tanks, an old well and a new well with drinking water treatment and salt+UV system, and is inserted in a prohibited hunting zone. In recent years there has been a continuous and articulated planting of plants and trees (about 700 in total).

Besides being easily accessible as it is close to one of the main roads in the county, the estate has a residential construction permission that could go up to 7.800m2 or, up to 15.600m2, if it is a touristic development. Given the abundance of medronho trees, one of the houses can be converted into a distillery, thus diversifying the potential for exploitation in a touristic area.

In this county, new touristic projects can benefit from financial incentives with dedicated credit lines (non-refundable up to 60%). It is worth noting that a new quality tourist offer has emerged in this coastal area, with emphasis on exclusive rural units, given the proximity to the beach, good accessibility, surrounding nature and the temperate climate.

Depending on the nature of the investment to be made, you can also opt for two other properties: two plots with a total of 7ha, valued at 200.000 (with a residential construction permission that can go up to 1.400m2 or, up to 2.800m2 in the case of a tourism development); and a plot with 1ha in Zambujeira do Mar (in front of the sea), for the price of 140.000.

The municipality of Odemira is the largest in Portugal and has a truly stunning coastline, integrated in the Parque Natural do Sudoeste Alentejano e Costa Vicentina, and a charming interior full of cork oak, holm oak and eucalyptus forests. It is crossed by the Mira River, considered the "Nature River" such is its degree of preservation.

The landscape is therefore quite diverse as we travel along its roads and we can be in the mountains, in the plain or by the sea, in one of its extensive cliffs, enjoying the endless view or the famous Alentejo sunset. This diversity is also felt on the palate: from fish to fresh seafood, quality sausages, good cheeses, bread, olive oil, wines and medronho (a brandy)! In these parts it doesn't matter if the "room" has sea view or mountain view, because the most certain is that you will always have a privileged view.

Its touristic potential is therefore enormous, translated into the highest price of the m2 in the whole Alentejo. Ultimately, a new tourist offer of quality has emerged, based mainly on small and exclusive rural units, and the county has numerous credit lines to support the touristic investment.
